In 2008, the Post-9/11 GI Bill was passed to assist our veterans and their families with the opportunity to attend college in return for their service. Today, some schools are unfairly targeting these students to gain access to GI Bill benefits while delivering substandard education, offering misleading job placement claims, or providing little to no support services. This website was developed to provide informational materials and stories from veterans to help you make an informed decision and get the most from your benefits.
We consider this website to be the follow-up mission to the passage of the Post-9/11 GI Bill in 2008. We’ve now moved on to protect the GI Bill and the veterans who use it, with an initiative to educate and increase awareness about the pitfalls of some for-profit colleges so the benefits earned through service to our country are not wasted. We are a non-profit organization supported by a small family foundation interested in veterans’ education issues.
